Introduction

The Centre for Virology at University College London comprises various laboratories and researchers based within the Division of Infection and Immunity, and located at the Windeyer Institute of Medical Sciences in Fitzrovia. The group combines expertise from research and clinical backgrounds, and links laboratory research with computational science and bioinformatics.

Research

Current projects within the group focus on molecular epidemiology, drug resistance, intrinsic immunity, and gene expression in relation to pathogenesis. Our emphasis is on clinically relevant viruses, particularly HIV-1 and human herpesviruses. For more information on specific projects and research interests, follow the links below and to the left.
